Terms of Service

1. The Service

AtlasAnalytics provides location-intelligence tools — an Opportunity Score, market data, AI-generated explanations, simulations, and calculators — to help you evaluate potential business locations. Browsing locations and their underlying data is free with a registered account; the Opportunity Score, its explanation, Market Simulation, and the Rent/Purchase Calculator require an active paid subscription.

2. Not financial or professional advice

Everything the Service produces — Opportunity Scores, AI-generated explanations, simulated scenarios, revenue/profit estimates — is a modeled estimate, not a guarantee, and not financial, investment, legal, or professional advice. You are solely responsible for any business decision you make, including where to open or invest in a location. Verify anything material with your own due diligence and qualified professionals before acting on it.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your password secure. You're responsible for activity that happens under your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Subscriptions and billing

• Paid plans are billed monthly in advance via Stripe, in the currency and amount shown at checkout.
• Switching plans while subscribed updates your existing subscription (prorated) — it does not create a second charge.
• You can cancel or manage your subscription at any time from Settings via the Stripe billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; we don't offer partial-period refunds except where required by law.
• Prices may change with reasonable notice before your next billing cycle.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that infringes anyone else's rights.
• Attempt to bypass paywall restrictions, rate limits, or access controls.
• Scrape, resell, or redistribute the Service's data or outputs in bulk without our permission.
• Interfere with the Service's operation or attempt to access accounts or systems you're not authorized to access.

6. Intellectual property

We own the Service, its software, design, and the aggregate scoring methodology. You own the data you input (your workspace name, saved locations, alerts). We grant you a limited, non-exclusive license to use the Service for your own business purposes while your subscription is active.

7. Termination

You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, or if required to comply with the law.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is". We don't warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the data and estimates it produces are accurate or complete for your specific situation.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, AtlasAnalytics is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including business decisions made using its estimates. Nothing in these terms excludes any guarantee, right, or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you directly. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia.
